Dear Annie,

just a few lines in answer to your letter which I was pleased to receive and to know you was all well at home. you said in your letter about tales about some of us out here you do not want to take any notice of the tales you hear. I was pleased to hear that Ms Garner was getting on well also to know that Florrie was well and I hope the baby and Earn are well also all Unkles and unts and cousins remember me to them when you see them. I was sorry to hear that George was not well but hope he may be better by the time you receive my letter I sent you a card which you asked me to send will send one now and again just to let you know that I am getting on allright. we are having some nice weather now hope you are having the same I have had a letter from A. Taylor since as been back he told me that

he got back allright there is not much more news to tell you this time hoping these few lines will find you all in the best of health as it leaves me at the present I remain
