Letter – 13.04.15

13/4/1915

Dear Annie

just a few lines in answer to your letter which I recieved yesterday Monday was glad to hear you was all getting allright and to hear Florrie was getting better. I was glad to hear Harry and his wife was getting on allright also Sam and Jack hope they may keep so, you said that Ted Dale was dead you had not told me before so it was news to me. I hada letter from Jack Groote last week and he sent me Alf Taylor address but have not had a letter from Alf but may do so as I wrote to him he is at Cambridge at present does not

know when he may shift I think he will be better where he is. I had a letter that you sent the 26th Jan. but have not got the parsel yet or the letter with the post card there are a lot of chaps out here who have lost a lot of things or they have gone back. I cannot tell you much news about the way we go on here as all letters are read before they are sent off if we was to put anything in about how we went on here it would not be sent so you see I cannot tell you any thing only that I am getting on allright this is one that may be sent with out the reading

I hope Farther and George are still in work and getting on allright I should think there is plenty of work there now well dear Annie I have not much news to tell you this time hoping they will find you all well at home

I remain

your loving Brother

Fred

PS

we are not allowed to write our address on the top now but I expect you have got it
