Dear Annie

just a few lines in answer to your letter was pleased to hear that you was all right at home hope George as got rid of his cold and hope Unkle Will is much better also Annie Peck we have had better weather just lately it as been quite warm and been much better for getting about I was surprised to hear that Alf Cross had joined the Canadains hope he will get on allright no dout his wife

will miss him for a time we are quite close to some of the Candaians they seem a lot of decent chaps have you heard anything of Walter Leversidge lately as he been sent out here yet or his he in England yet let me know how he is when you write again if you have heard anything of him I have not seen Alf Taylor yet do not know where he is he may be a long way from where we are Hope Earn and Florrie and baby are well

give my love to them when you see them and remember me to all Unkles and Aunts and cousins hoping they are all well. A. Lemmon and J. Goulding as got with us again they are looking quite well seem they have had a good time in England there is not a lot of news to tell you this time so will close with love to all at home hoping these few lines will find you all quite well as it leaves me at present
