Ted Saunders’ WW1 Scrapbook

The following newspaper clippings have been taken from a scrapbook kept by local man Ted Saunders during the years 1914-1918. The scrapbook has been kindly loaned to Whittlesey Museum by Mrs C.E. Saunders.

The scrapbook also contains some non-war related items which have not been reproduced here, such as a poem about the sinking of the HMS Titanic (1912). Sadly, Ted did not record the date or source of any of the clippings which he collected in the scrapbook.
